Proactive not Reactive -by Laura Davis I recently came across an article that hit close to home for me. I'm always asked by people I talk to---  " how in the world I am able to and want to workout so early in the morning. My family is not up so why in the world would I want to wake up so early???"  There really isn't one answer for why I prefer a morning workout. This article I read hit the nail on the head for me.  The main reason I want to start off my day early before my kids even wake up is to be in a proactive state, not reactive. I want to dictate how my day will start. If I want to do that, I need to rise early, workout and have some time to myself. Not allow myself to be woken only to be rushed to get the kids fed and off to school as well as for me, have work calls and emails piling in galore.  So whether you have kids, have a stressful job, workout in the evenings or in the mornings....remember to shave out some time to get up and ...

I allow my fears to hold me back because of expectations from others and from myself because I am afraid of letting everyone down. Enough is enough!  The Power of a VISION BOARD By Molly Piercy Its 2016 and today is the day some of us reflect on the past year and think about the things we want to do differently in the upcoming year!  New experiences, new trips, new commitments, new jobs, new careers, new families-- you name it.   A vision board is a HELPFUL reminder daily of all of your AMBITIONS that you have for the year.   A  vision board  is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on a specific life goal. Literally, a vision board is any sort of board on which you display images that represent whatever you want to be, do or have in your life.
